Abigail Washburn

Abigail Washburn is an internationally celebrated singer, songwriter and clawhammer banjo-player based in Nashville, TN.

Abigail’s musical projects range from her woman-powered string band, Uncle Earl (with Kristin Andreassen, KC Groves and Rayna Gellert), to her “chamber roots” collaboration with the Sparrow Quartet (Bela Fleck, Casey Driessen and Ben Sollee), to her banjo-guzheng duo with Wu Fei, a master of the ancient 21-string Chinese zither. Washburn’s first album with her husband and longtime musical collaborator, Béla Fleck, won a 2016 Grammy for Best Folk Album.
