About the Artist

Orlando Hernández is a tap dancer and choreographer based in NY. He has presented his work at On the Boards, Joe’s Pub, Brown University, the Provincetown Dance Festival, and La Casa de Cultura Ruth Hernández Torres. He is a member of the companies Music from the Sole and Subject:Matter. Orlando was a 2022-2023 Fresh Tracks Artist at New York Live Arts and is a 2023 Artist-in-Residence at the Center for Performance Research.
