The Villalobos Brothers

The ensemble’s virtuosic performances have delighted audiences throughout Latin America, India, Russia, Canada, and in more than 30 states across the United States. They have performed at historic venues and events including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Latin Grammy Awards at Rockefeller Center, Davies Symphony Hall with the San Francisco Symphony, Montreal Jazz Festival, the Ford Theatre in Hollywood, the 60th Anniversary of the United Nations, the New Victory Theatre on Broadway, the San Jose Jazz Fest, Celebrate Brooklyn, the 66th FIFA Congress, the Blue Note Jazz Festival, and the Apollo Theatre, among others.

The Villalobos Brothers, have collaborated with legendary musicians including Bruce Springsteen, Dolly Parton, Antonio Sánchez, Regina Carter, Eduardo Magallanes, Dan Zanes, Sierra Hull, and Anita Tijoux.

For this performance, they will be joined on stage by Erick Alfaro (bass), Sergio Ramírez (guitar), and Gabriel Chakarji (piano).

The Villalobos Brothers would like to convey their admiration towards all the amazing musical families coming together for this concert. Like them, Ernesto, Alberto, and Luis Villalobos continue to find refuge and inspiration in family, speaking of love and brotherhood with brilliance, cadence, and virtuosity.
