FEMME

March 22 at 7:00pm

Co-founders of Femme Jam (Miranda Joan, Melissa McMillan, Alita Moses, and Camille Trust) come together to celebrate female friendship in a showcase of their original music for Women’s History Month. A first-of-its-kind, Femme Jam has disrupted New York’s male-dominated music scene with the intent of creating an inclusive space that was female-led, shifting the dynamic of the typical jam session setting. Over the past six years they have helped cultivate a community that supports, uplifts, and showcases the diverse talent of New York City’s music scene. Backed by their house band, Femme now takes the stage for the first time as the four co-founders front a show of their original music to share a glimpse into the origins of their collective: friendship and the joy of singing. With an impressive list of performance credits, the four artists have worked with the likes of Hozier, Shawn Mendes, The Killers, Jacob Collier, Kylie Minogue, Allen Stone, Resistance Revival Chorus, Chris Botti, Cynthia Erivo, and Corinne-Bailey Rae amongst others.

Celebrate Women’s History Month with Femme before seeing Downtown Sessions: An Evening with Renée Elise Goldsberry at 8:00pm.
