Natie is a creole musician/singer-songwriter from Reunion island, based in New York City. After a world tour in Beyoncé & Jay-Z’s band in 2018, Natie launched her solo career with the release of her music video “Identity” and her debut EP In the Key of Fall. Her new multilingual/soothing EP Home: a place within aux parfums d’ailleurs came out last spring. Through her music, Natie aims to share the experience of being creole (mixed race) and uprooted, with authenticity and grounding, in the hope to foster more openness and belonging.

Kayla GC is a Queens based musician, making a new chapter in her musical career. Kayla’s smooth, amber toned vocals mixed with her rich and silky harmonies has placed her in different and vast musical spaces at the age of 24. With a number of accolades already under her belt, including singing backgrounds for numerous artists on television, arranging for Mary J Blige’s tribute at the 2023 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards with the Gospel for Teens Choir, and engineering and recording the sample used for “Welcome to America” by Black Thought, she’s continuing to make musical moves that make impact around the world. Her newest single “What Do You Want?” dropped Aug. 31 last year.

Blending R&B, diaspora rhythms, and the sultry spirit of old school soul, Hailé Supreme has crafted a unique style that honors the past, yet sounds like the future. Hailé has stood alongside giants in collaborations with artists such as: Nas, Lil Wayne, Steve Porcaro from Toto, 2-Chainz, Nightmares On Wax, Carrtoons, Jack Harlow, Hannibal Buress, Bun B, Joey BADA$$, OddISee, Wiz Khalifa, Sango, and many, many more.

Annie O Presents at PAC NYC
US-based Pakistani artist, Zeerak “Slowspin” Ahmed produces voice-based sculptures, sound installations and uniquely fragile sound collages. Slowspin has a distinct sound practice grounded in North Indian classical vocal traditions, dream-folk, ambient and experimental- electronic music. Poetry and melodies in her mother tongue(s)—Urdu, Purbi, and English—build textural soundscapes for love, loss and longing. Since 2012, she has produced six solo EP’s. Her latest release is her first collaborative album, Talisman. The record opens a world of Slowspin’s uncanny and heart-wrenching refrains that deliver a balm for the migrant’s journey into the unknown.

Tẹmídayọ Amay is a Black Trans Non-Binary writer, composer, actor, and queer activist. They are a resident community healer for the Black Trans Liberation Kitchen and a Helen Hayes Award-winning performer. Tẹmídayọ Amay’s plays have been developed alongside the Obie Award-winning Breaking the Binary Theatre Company, The Kennedy Center, Solas Nua, Theatre Alliance, The Clarice, and Brooklyn College/CUNY. Tẹmídayọ is a 2023 Breaking the Binary New Works Program playwright, 2023 Theatre Producers of Color producing fellow, 2023-4 Musical Theatre Factory Makers Cohort III playwriting fellow, Harriet Tubman Effect’s inaugural Lantern Executive Coaching Program award recipient, and 2023-4 Obie Award-winning Maestra Music musical theatre writing mentee.

Natu Camara: An Evening of Hope and Healing – 7:00pm
Globally celebrated Guinean artist Natu Camara’s powerful voice and inspiring message combine with her vibrant fusion of Afro-rock, soul, and pop to uplift and empower audiences everywhere she goes. PAC NYC is thrilled to welcome Natu back to our Lobby Stage following her debut last February for a monthly residency. Through her music and activism, Natu Camara spreads light, hope, and positivity across the world, reinforcing her role as a true cultural ambassador and change-maker. Natu’s latest single, “cinko Mina” showcases her signature blend of storytelling and rhythm and sets the stage for her new album coming out this spring.
The next An Evening of Hope and Healing with Natu Camara will be on March 15 at 7pm and will celebrate the release of her highly anticipated new single, “In Yayi Soma” (“You’re Messing My Mind Up”) that same day.

Expand the experience of African Exodus, a musical odyssey across cultures, genres, languages, and geographies, with this free-to-the-public, two-man musical performance. Micca Manganye and Volley Nchabeleng use an array of instruments, bodily percussion, and musical communication to explore the many sounds and narratives of South Africa’s northernmost province. Birdsong, the sound of the wind, the trickling of a stream, conversation, laughter, and more are performed and looped in real-time, layering sound and music together to form a vivid sonic tapestry that is equal parts immersive and invigorating, alive with the sounds of Limpopo.
