Gamma Vibes & Lauren Yoon – 8:00pm
Oscillate

Gamma Vibes is a New York based DJ and producer known for blending live electric vibraphone with drum machines and synths to create a rich and dynamic sound. Lauren Yoon is a producer, DJ, and instrumentalist based in NYC. Her music is inspired by early US house sounds from NJ/Chicago: deep garage, and soulful dance music. Recently she has been focusing on live and hybrid sets incorporating the violin, keys, and synthesizers. Gamma Vibes and Lauren Yoon unite for a live soulful, deep dance groove set. Together, they curate a vibrant and deeply engaging sonic experience.

Jeremy Smith – 7:00pm
Old Songs, New Songs Series

Building on the foundation of classical training at The Juilliard School, Jeremy’s percussive interests and abilities encompass a wide range of traditional and contemporary percussion styles from around the world. He performs regularly with Afro-Peruvian music group Festejation, Middle-Eastern fusion group Baklava Express, and global jazz quintet Mr. Ho’s Orchestrotica. He is a live musical accompanist for modern dance classes at the Juilliard School, The Ailey School, and Steps on Broadway. He teaches drumming and rhythm training in-person and online from his studio in Manhattan. Jeremy is a dynamic performer and passionate teacher with the desire to share the beauty of rhythm with all.

Academy for Teachers Winter Chorus Concert – 5:30pm
Civic Alliances Series

The Academy for Teachers Chorus offers a creative and restorative haven for hardworking, devoted educators who meet weekly and perform twice a year. Under the baton of Amber Salladin, the chorus sings a range of music: classical, folk, contemporary, and pop. The chorus has performed at Carnegie Hall, St. Malachy’s Actors’ Chapel, and Steinway Hall. All teachers, current or retired, from public, charter, and private schools are warmly invited to join.
