Park Avenue Artists’ Oscillate

Gamma Vibes is a New York-based DJ, vibraphonist, and electronic producer. Born in South Korea, Gamma Vibes developed a deep passion for music from an early age and became fascinated with playing jazz vibraphone. Her performances are characterized by organic originality, blending dynamic mixing and live instrumentation, whether in intimate venues or on grand festival stages.

Augie Bello – 5:45pm

In 2018, soon after starting college at The New School for Jazz, Bello began to post videos of his music to Instagram. Since then, he has grown a following of over 800k people who are eager to hear his original music. In 2023, Bello released his debut EP Augie which received over 1 million streams. Recently, Bello was a finalist for the Riders Choice Award and was featured on Good Morning America.

Part of Motion/Matter: Street Dance Festival. Kids Breaking League is a community of coaches, parents, enthusiasts and leaders who are guiding today’s youth to become leaders and members of this global community known as “Breaking”. Kids Breaking League helps people, especially the youth, to break out of their shell – changing lives one head spin at a time! Join us in a small lecture/demonstration on the art of breaking and witness the empowerment of youth through the dance.

Raised in Chicago, based in Brooklyn, Saeed Durojaiye (@yungduro) is a self-described ‘music nerd’. When he’s not behind the decks DJing, he’s running around as a photographer, and when he’s not doing either one of those things, he’s moonlighting as a law student.

Kaki King – 5:45pm
Park Avenue Artists’ Spotlight

Kaki King’s career has spanned over twenty years, and continues to be at the forefront of leading guitarists and performance-makers. Kaki King has collaborated with Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, toured with Natalia Lafourcade, contributed music to Sean Penn’s Into the Wild (which won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score), and performed in spaces as diverse as the Kennedy Center, Mass MoCA, the London Jazz Festival, NYUAD Arts Center, and beyond.

Jon Lampley – 5:45pm
Park Avenue Artists’ Spotlight

Jon Lampley has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting multi-instrumentalists in the world. While best known for his soulful playing on trumpet and sousaphone, he’s also a vocalist and songwriter. Lampley is a co-founder of the genre-bending band Huntertones and you can see him every weeknight on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert with Louis Cato and The Late Show Band.

Bombazo Dance Co. – 11:00am
Family Programming – Dance to the Beat

Bombazo Dance Co. is New York’s leading Bomba Dance Company. Their mission is to educate, perform, and advocate for Puerto Rico’s African roots and their connection to the African, Latine, and Caribbean Diaspora. Bomba, which dates back to the 17th century, is a dance practice that was maintained by the enslaved and free people of color in Puerto Rico.

Latin Grammy nominated & Brazilian Music Awards granted artist, songwriter, composer and musician in his own right, Rogê is considered to be a principal part of the Brazilian popular music scene revival (MPB). Rogê has released 7 solo albums and 2 collaborations – with samba legend Arlindo Cruz and with Seu Jorge. Now based in Los Angeles, CA, he just released CURYMAN, his debut album in the United States.

Park Avenue Artists’ Oscillate

Monolithic is the pseudonym of Jun Torii, a Brooklyn-based music producer and DJ originally from Japan. Torii is a frequent presence behind the decks at underground clubs in Brooklyn, including Mood Ring, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Good Room, and Public Records. Additionally, he regularly makes guest appearances on prominent Brooklyn-based online radio stations such as Newtown Radio and The Lot Radio.

Park Avenue Artists’ Spotlight

Brooklyn-based folk singer/songwriter Rachel Rose brings her rich, nostalgic sound to the Lobby Stage, accompanied by her guitarist, co-writer, and producer, Charles Myers. Together they will share a program of original songs incorporating elements of soul, blues, folk, and pop and drawing from influences the likes of Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Linda Ronstadt, Janis Joplin, Brandi Carlile, and Alanis Morissette.

Swing Makes You Sing! is an award-winning program on a mission to uplift, connect, and spread the joy of jazz music to kids ages 2 to 102. The flexible ensemble explores key elements of jazz – the blues, swing, improvisation and self-expression – featuring movement as a way to experience jazz music. Swing Makes You Sing! delivers exhilarating shows inviting young audiences to a rowdy, joyous party!

Deep from the corners of the Pan-American repertoire, Argentine vocalist Sofia Rei and Peruvian bassist Jorge Roeder delve into the hidden gems of the lore. With uncanny skills and gripping emotive range, they bring songs to life in this all-acoustic duo setting. These Grammy nominated musicians revisit compositions by iconic writers such as Noel Rosa, Pixinguinha, Nicomedes Santa Cruz, Chabuca Granda and Thelonious Monk.
