After the wild success of PAC NYC’s sold-out 2024 showdown, the one-and-only Cebo is back to host a high-voltage battle that will light up Lower Manhattan! Top-tier dancers from NYC’s club scene and beyond will throw down in a fierce face-off demonstrating locking, popping, breaking, and all the moves that define the culture. A panel of all-star judges decides who takes the cash grand prize, but Motion/Matter: All-Styles Dance Battle isn’t just a competition — it’s a celebration of passion, a testament to dedication, and a showcase of the transformative power of street dance.

DJ Bizzy
Born and raised in Harlem, New York, Bizzy displayed a love for the arts at a very young age. Growing up in a household where music was a driving force, she quickly cultivated her own appreciation and love for music and movement. She began her dance training at the age of three and has since gone on to perform at venues such as Madison Square Garden, the Barclays Center, Alvin Ailey, NYC Summer Stage, and more.
Cebo
Terry B.J. Carr, professionally known as Cebo, has been a distinguished fixture in the street and club culture for more than 30 years. Cebo is president of New York’s first street club dance companies, Next Generation NYC, LLC (NXGN) / Next Generation New York Studios. From event management to curriculum development, NXGN does it all when it comes to street and club culture.
Kim Holmes
Kim Holmes has emerged as one of the premiere and influential luminaries of the urban dance movement. With unparalleled vibrancy, sensuality, and versatility, Ms. Holmes has been coined as the “Josephine Baker of Hip-Hop.” Pulling from her formal training in African, ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary, as well as house and hip-hop, Ms. Holmes has sought to redefine the face of the hip-hop/urban dance movement. Over her professional dance career of 20 years, Ms. Holmes’s evolving intrigue in hip-hop, house, and contemporary has led her to tour and work with performers, choreographers and artists such as: Beyoncé, Missy Elliott, Elite Force, Brian “Footwork” Green, Robin Dunn, Opus Dance Theatre, and many others.
Soraya Lundy
A Queens native, Soraya Lundy is a highly accomplished dancer, choreographer, and educator with a 16-year career. Trained at esteemed institutions like the Alvin Ailey School and Martha Graham Center, she excels in ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. Soraya’s choreography has graced stages worldwide, collaborating with renowned artists such as Cardi B, Janet Jackson, and Missy Elliott. Her work extends beyond music, encompassing high-fashion campaigns for brands like Balmain and Hermes. With a focus on cultural expression and empowering dancers, Soraya continues to inspire and elevate the art of movement.
Leiomy Maldonado
Leiomy Maldonado, known as “The Wonder Woman of Vogue”, is a sensational Latina born and raised in New York City. She was introduced to voguing 16 years ago through the Ballroom scene. After being discovered on the fourth season of America’s Best Dance Crew in 2009. She appeared in music videos including Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair” and Icona Pop’s “All Night,” and has worked along other artists like Rihanna, FKA Twigs, and Zhu. Maldonado’s passion is to travel across the world teaching vogue workshops and teaching confidence through dance. Her moves have inspired choreographers and celebrities including Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Janet Jackson. She was featured in Nike’s 2017 BeTrue campaign as an athlete and has worked as a choreographer and actress in FX’s Pose. In 2019 she was introduced as a judge on HBO Max’s Legendary, which was the first worldwide Ballroom competition. Her latest appearance was in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show Vol 3.
