Sasha Ono is an award-winning cellist and concert curator based in New York City where she is known for her versatility and unique sound. Recent performances include work with Ariana Grande, Coldplay, Josh Groban, and Joshua Bell. Sasha has been featured as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician at prominent venues across the United States and globally, and appears regularly on television programs Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, as well as on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts series.
You can hear her recording work on two Grammy® Award-winning songs along with several acclaimed movie and tv show soundtracks. Sasha regularly works on Broadway shows and is involved with a variety of musical theater projects. She has also founded the acclaimed series, Comfy Classical which has introduced many new audiences to classical chamber music.
