Born to Persian immigrant parents in New York City, Stephanie June has always turned to music as a universal language. Her songs feel like sacred experiences, and yet many of her heartbreak anthems are interwoven with little jokes and details about relationships. June’s debut EP explores radical acceptance, and her lyrics are so personal it almost feels like an invasion. Ultimately, Stephanie’s music is a call to be bold enough to say the hard thing, be vulnerable, and take the road less traveled.
