Lower Manhattan’s new home for the performing arts welcomes families to come create and celebrate. Join us as we invite over 100 artists to take over the day with workshops, performances, interactive creation stations, dance battles, and much more!

Baba Israel
Baba Israel is a Hip Hop/theater artist, poet, educator and curator raised in New York by parents who were core members of the Living Theatre. He has toured and developed projects in thirty four countries, often working as a cultural ambassador. Baba is part of Bronx Banda with Arturo O’Farrill and has shared the stage with artists such as KRS One, Lester Bowie, Outkast, Bahamadia and Medusa.
Bond Street Theatre: The Shinbone Alley Stilt Band
Bond Street Theatre’s Shinbone Alley Stilt Band has energized festivals and special events with an eclectic repertoire of Dixieland, Swing, Rock, Jazz, and Blues, since 1982.
Brooklyn United Music and Arts: Brooklyn United Marching Band
Brooklyn United Marching Band is one of NYC’s most prestigious Marching Bands! With over 80 appearances a year these young people represent Brooklyn wherever they go! From South Africa to Norway to France, they bring amazing energy and passion to every performance! Ladies and Gents, we present BU!
Brooklyn Youth Chorus: Dianne Berkun Menaker, Artistic Director
The Grammy Award-winning ensemble, led by Founder and Artistic Director, Dianne Berkun Menaker, is one of the most highly regarded ensembles in the country. They have collaborated with a range of artists and have developed a commissioning program featuring some of the most important composers of our time. Founded in 1992, the Chorus offers world-class voice training and professional-level performance opportunities for young people ages 5-18.

This experience offers heartfelt and unconventional ways for guests to express themselves to the community they encounter. Afterwards, visitors can donate their tag to a collective sculpture commemorating those who gathered.
Full Circle Souljahs: The Breakdown
A journey into the fundamental techniques which make up Hip Hop’s original dance known as Breaking. This workshop that will be taught by Bronx’s own and world know “Rokafella” will breakdown the 4 elements which make breaking unique as a dance which include, Top Rock, Drops, Footwork and Freezez.

Grace Galu Kalambay
Grace Galu Kalambay, is a vocalist, actor, musical director, guitarist and composer. Grace is a 20 year member of, and recently featured in Buskerball 2022. She recorded the music video Firelight with Fearless Music. Her composition, Ordinary Sentiment was featured in the Ed Burns film, Purple Violets which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Grace Galu devised The Mendelssohn Electric with Trusty Sidekick, and was cast as the lead in their production, The Gospel Electric, commissioned by the Park Avenue Armory.

With a 90’s style flow and lyrical prowess beyond his years, he’s set to redefine the game. “Nepotism” is a musical masterpiece, paying homage to the roots of Hip Hop while blazing a trail for the next generation.
Kaila Mullady: Beatboxing with The Academy of Noise
The Academy of Noise is a music education program that helps people of all ages express themselves and find the power of their voice through beatboxing, writing, and storytelling. Our students can develop a growth mindset and build healthy communication skills while having fun.
Move and Groove Together - Line Dance with Kendra J. Bostock
Let’s party and dance together! Line Dance AKA Detroit Hustlin’ has been a way for people of all generations to dance together in a fun way to popular music. Instead of having to pick the moves up impromptu on the dance floor, allow us to teach you some popular Line Dances in this workshop. From the popular Line Dances like the Electric Slide and the Wobble to some more intricate ones. Kendra will break down each dance step-by-step so you feel comfortable making it your own when we turn on the song and dance together. And you’ll be able to show off at the next gathering. Simple Mischief Studio: Spencer Lott’s Mermaids in the Sky
Puppeteer and Director Spencer Lott transforms the sky into the sea as a cast of colorful sculptures float over the audience’s heads in a graceful dance. Translucent mermaids, inspired by sea glass, swim past the clouds in this playful and poetic experience with a live score.
Soul Inscribed
Soul Inscribed presents interactive performances that take audiences on a journey through the genres that inspire Hip Hop including Blues, Jazz, Funk, and Rock. Soul Inscribed flows between crafted songs, improvisation, and human beatboxing.
