Grammy Award-winning Alphabet Rockers make music and content that makes change. Led by Kaitlin McGaw (she/her) and Tommy Soulati Shepherd (he/him/they), Alphabet Rockers create brave spaces to shape a more equitable world through hip hop. Alphabet Rockers’ music inspires kids and families to stand up to hate and be their brave and beautiful selves.
Armo
Armo’s intimate and energetic sound focuses on classic and contemporary Afrobeat.
Founded by longtime Antibalas bandmates, Armo creates spontaneous arrangements of the music of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, The Daktaris, Ebo Taylor, William Onyeabor, The Art Ensemble of Chicago, and original rhythm-based music.
Shoshana Bean
Shoshana Bean was most recently seen starring opposite Billy Crystal in Broadway’s Mr. Saturday Night. Tony & Grammy nominated for her role as Susan Young, she has previously starred on Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked and Jenna in Waitress.
José Feliciano
Feliciano: A Name That is Synonymous with MUSIC.
It is synonymous with an international presence that has influenced popular music for more than two generations. It is synonymous with a presence that has bridged musical styles in a way that has never been equaled. José Feliciano is recognized as the first Latin Artist to effectively cross over into the English music market, opening the doors for other artists who now play an important role in the American music industry.
Daniel Gortler
Acclaimed Israeli-American pianist Daniel Gortler has delighted audiences and critics alike with his performances around the world, receiving praise for his technical mastery and musical ingenuity.
Gortler has performed as soloist with renowned orchestras including the Berlin Radio Symphony, the Bavarian Radio Symphony, NDR Symphony, North-West German Philharmonic, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, as well as the San Francisco, New World, and Atlanta, Symphony Orchestras. He has also performed with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and all orchestras in Israel.
Trinity Youth Chorus
In addition to providing musical leadership at Trinity Church, the acclaimed Trinity Youth Chorus performs in a variety of concerts throughout the season, often alongside Trinity’s professional ensembles: The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, Trinity Baroque Orchestra, and NOVUS NY. The Trinity Youth Chorus is featured in the films Love is Strange and Doubt, as well as Lisa Bielawa’s made-for-TV opera Vireo; they have sung backup for Josh Groban, the Rolling Stones, and Bobby McFerrin; and they have been heard on Public Radio International and CBS’s The Early Show.
Abigail Washburn
Abigail Washburn is an internationally celebrated singer, songwriter and clawhammer banjo-player based in Nashville, TN.
Michelle Zauner
Michelle Zauner is a musician and author based in New York City. She has won acclaim from major music outlets around the world for her albums Psychopomp (2016) and Soft Sounds from Another Planet (2017). Her most recent release, Jubilee (2021), earned two Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album.
